A Market for Murder
Karen Slocombe has taken a stall at the local farmers' market, selling the vegetables she grows on land adjacent to Drew's natural burial ground. During a morning market, one of the stallholders is shot, and the killer seems to simply vanish, without trace. Set against the backdrop of local food politics, the power of supermarkets and the demands of organic production, this story sees Den Cooper in limbo and Karen taking a more central role.
